Our History

I purchased my first Am staff from a highly reputable, professional breeder Heidi McClure of Pirouette American Staffordshire Terriers. Heidi's Bloodlines are of well know lines of old, her foundation dog, "Roemeo" is a Tonkawa dog. Tonkawa Kennels were established by Hendrix Harper in 1959 with Ruffian dogs obtained from Peggy Harper (no relation to Hendrix Harper).

Heidi has led me to network with other reputable, professional breeders and handlers. One of which is Lisa Wysminity of Jumpstart Terriers in Alberta, Canada. Lisa handled Rocksey in the confirmation ring.

This is what Lisa has to say about Rocksey...."Rocksey "Pirouette's Rocksey Roller" picked up 3 points this weekend at the Camrose, Alberta show, including her Canadian "major". Big Congrats to Rhonda and Greg Kyle who own Rocksey and to Heidi McClure, her breeder. We have only just begun :-) Rocksey just LOVES to show and her tail NEVER stops wagging, we got a lot of comments on how happy she was all the time and how much fun she looked liked she was having in the ring. She is a real joy to show. She has mastered the art of catching bait and looks like an old pro in the ring already. Very smart girl. Our next show is next weekend in Red Deer. It's nice to have breed competition at SOME of the shows at least lol. Cheers"

It is so apparent without a dedicated breeder to stick by you over the years with wisdom and support that it may be very hard to flourish with your canine. Mentoring is just the beginning. Having someone to answer your questions and dedicate themselves to making sure your life with your am staff is wonderful is the rest, and most important!
